Illinois held firm as the Blue Wall in 2016 for Hillary Clinton even as the rest of the Midwest caved. One
of the reasons is that Illinois had already experienced the failure of an outsider Republican businessman
with no government experience taking the reins of government. We need to make sure we elect JB
Pritzker in 2018! We can’t allow a Republican Governor to have control of the next Congressional Map
or be in control of a potential Senate appointment. We can’t allow more Republicans into our Illinois
Congressional Delegation. JB Pritzker will get Illinois back on track again. And Suburban Cook County
needs to support him to make that happen. Unfortunately, too many voters in Lyons Township backed
Bruce Rauner and allowed him to proceed on his union busting and attack on the working class of
Illinois.
Lyons Township 2014 Governor’s Race:
Hinsdale supported Rauner by 61.2%
Western Springs supported Rauner by 39.5%
Indian Head Park supported Rauner by 28%
Burr Ridge supported Rauner by 24%
La Grange supported Rauner by 14.7%
Countryside supported Rauner by 14.7%
Even with Summit supporting the Democratic Candidate by 46.4%, Justice with 17.8%, Lyons with 15.6%,
Bridgeview with 7%, and Brookfield by 6.9%–Rauner beat Quinn in Lyons Township.
We have to do better in 2018. We have to carry the day for JB Pritzker! Let’s get to work!
