Lyons Dems rank in top 10 of Cook County Democrats

President Preckwinkle called Committeeman Landek to congratulate all the volunteers of the Lyons Township Democrats for their excellent petition gathering performance. Committeeman Landek said that, “we had over 70 petition passers throughout the township who braved all types of weather to collect signatures to place candidates on the ballot.”

At the deadline, we collected over 2,100 signatures for the Cook County Democratic Party, 500 for Congressman Casten, 450 for various state senate and representative races, and over 500 for various judicial races.

Yes, that totals to over 3,500 names submitted in favor of great Democratic candidates.
